Thoughts on Thursday: School Essentials

Linking up with Annie from Home of Malones and Natalie from East Coast Chic again for Thoughts on Thursday.

I have to go back to work on Monday. I can’t believe how quickly the summer has flown by. We have been so busy, but I don’t feel like I missed out on any rest or anything. We were able to travel a lot but also spend plenty of time at home getting projects done. I thought I would write about some of my favorite products I use for school.

1. Bubba Keg 24 oz envy: Really any water bottle is an essential. I am a big water drinker in general, so I can always be found with a bottle of water in my hand. I really like this bottle because it doesn’t ever have condensation and you have an option of using a straw or just sipping out of the lid. A happy teacher is a hydrated teacher!

2. Erin Condren Life planner:  This is the best planner I have ever had. I stay organized with all of my life things: work, meal planning, exercise. I am able to keep track of all of my important dates plus it has a lot of free pages in the back for notes which I use for lists, addresses, etc.

3. Pilot G2 pens: These are my go to pens for work. They have the best color variety which is great for grading. I am going to try my best to grade each class with a different color so every class is individual and I can stay a little organized.

4. Longchamp Le Pilage: I love this bag. It is sturdy enough to carry all of my things back and forth. It is also professional enough to feel good carrying it to work, but most importantly, it looks good with pretty much everything.

Those are just a few of the things I need on a daily basis when it comes to getting back into work. I enjoy this link up because I can talk about whatever the heck I want.

  1. Stopping by from the link-up! Your essentials remind me of mine. I splurged and got an EC teacher planner last year and LOVED it. I keep thinking I need a life planner for this year since I won’t be teaching (taking at least a year off, after 13, to move across the country). Have you tried the friXion pens? They’re amazing (totally erasable and great bright colors) and worked great with my planner last year. Hope your year gets off to a great start! Enjoy your final days of summer break.
